Gayathree M - Counselling Psychologist

Therapy with me is a space where you don't have to perform being okay, or perform being not okay either. You don't need to arrive with the right words, a clear problem, or a sense of what you're looking for. Something that just doesn't feel right is enough to begin. I'm Gayathree, a counselling psychologist (M.Sc., MAHE) practising under supervision. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and identity. I hold a queer-affirmative, non-judgmental space. My approach is collaborative and adaptive. I'm not running a fixed programme, I draw on person-centred therapy, CBT, and ACT depending on what's actually useful for you, and we figure that out together as we go. Some of it is about noticing patterns in how you think and react. Some is about sitting with feelings and what they're telling you. Some is simply making sense of where things come from. Outside sessions I'm someone who loves good food, wanders cities without much of a plan, and takes games very seriously. I think the same curiosity I bring to those things shows up in how I work with people too. If something here resonates, I'd love to hear from you.
